Legendary blues singer, Etta James has died today at the age of 73 in Riverside Community Hospital. Etta James was born Jamesetta Hawkins in Los Angeles, California on January 25, 1938. She was a dominant force in music in the 1950's and was known for classics such as, "I'd Rather Go Blind" and "Tell Mama". She won grammy's and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during her lifetime. James, most famous for her classic song "At Last", died from complications with leukemia with her husband and sons on her side according to her manager, Lupe De Leon. Prayers go out to Ms. Etta's family at this very difficult time.
